As a performer, Andrea is drawn to the extremes. She loves the dark and twisty things that make audiences feel something. Her favourite kinds of performance involve movement-based work where she can fully throw herself into a character. She's also a sucker for devised work: there’s nothing like entering a rehearsal room and saying “let’s just f*ck around and see what happens!” and seeing little moments of magic unfold. 

She received performance training at the University of Toronto Centre for Drama, Theatre, and Performance Studies under Ken Gass, Andrew Kushnir, and Beatriz Pizano.
